Challenge

Due changes within their company structure, AC Nielsen required the rationalisation of their office throughout Australia and New Zealand starting with their Headquarters at North Ryde, then progressing through the major cities of both countries.

Solution

Insight Projects were commissioned to improve space utilisation throughout their office through the development of a Facilities Master Plan and individual space planning requirements by developing and standardising their accommodation needs into a generic "kit-of-parts". Extensive space savings were made in all sites.

Result

With the development of a Facilities Master Plan and the redesign of their head office in Sydney, AC Nielsen were able to sublease 3000m2 while maintaining staff numbers and general facilities. Insight Projects provided facility plans, design, project and construction management services for the staged project within the stipulated timeframe and budget.

Insight Projects have adapted the same rationalisation and now completed offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland and Wellington.
