RESULTS:
Spanning across 3 floors, 1 Atchison St, St Leonards became the new ADA NSW headquarters housing a professional development centre, state-of-the-art training facility and office. The Reception on Level 1 was designed for Student and Professionals to sign into a welcoming area that was comfortable, fresh, relaxed and professional. The space houses a comfortable banquette and loose seating area, display of historical central artefacts. This entry floor also houses the 54 seat seminar lecture theatre, a large multi-functional breakout space and kitchen to cater for Staff, Visitors and Students and the new National Dental Library.
Level 2 was dedicated to the CPD – The Centre of Professional Development. This floor is comprised of a CTC training lab with custom built lab benches, fully equipped with the latest specialised Dental equipment. The CTC training lab catered for 24 Students / Trainees. Adjacent to the Dental training facility were 4 open plan surgery spaces with Dental chairs and Dental preparation areas where both Students and professionals could train, and training videos could be filmed. Level 2 also housed the BBP department, ADA NSW’s in-house AV and media team.
Level 4 contained the main open workspace component for ADA staff member. This level had its own private breakout and kitchen facilities as well as various sized meeting rooms integrated throughout the Office space.
