CHALLENGE:

Insight was requested to provide a complete Design & Management service for InvoCare to be relocated to North Sydney into an office facility that improved collaboration from the current multiple floor tenancy in Walker St. Following the selection of a suitable 3 floor tenancy in Miller St, InvoCare were advised that the NSW Government would be installing a new rail station on the site and there would be compulsory acquisition of the building. The fit out had been fully documented and InvoCare had nowhere to relocate after already selling their current offices

SOLUTION:

Insight was appointed to help InvoCare to locate to a new leasing option, provided within 3 weeks a site assessment was introduced to test fit the building creating options and to then make recommendations in a very short lead time. 40 Miller St was chosen with a new tenancy over one & a half floors. Insight then documented the complete fitout in 2 weeks and was then ready to commence the construction. Insight completed the project & relocation for 230 staff members to fit into 2000m2 by the 20th May 2016.

RESULTS:

As can be seen in the attached photographs InvoCare have been relocated into the new premises within the time frame limited, resulting in a vastly improved office that develops collaboration while also providing a calming & homely environment. The work-point designs utilities 1800 x 800 bench style desking with caddies, these maximises usable space within the open plan space while having a centralised meeting area on Level 2. The staff breakout area is unique creating an atmosphere that is different to the work environment for all staff members to enjoy and relax.
