SCOPE:
Due to the success of NSDL 1, Northern Sydney Dermatology & Laser decided to expand their brand and take over the remainder of the ground floor tenancies at 29 Baringa Rd, Northbridge. The brief for this space was to replicate the design of NSDL 1, taking into account a reduced floor plate, and budget, whilst also retaining the same luxury look & feel provided to their Patient’s in NSDL 1.
SOLUTION:
Similarly to NSDL 1, the layout of this tenancy was thin in plan, with central columns which proved to be design constraints. However, through a comprehensive spatial & conceptual planning process, Insight was able to achieve the design sought after by the Client. The central spine at NSDL 1 became an effective design element, so this design element became the building block for the spatial planning process.
Insight delivered the project under a Design & Construct method.
RESULTS:
A refined, stylish, and practical design was delivered to the Client in December 2020, within budget & time frame. The 195 sqm tenancy encapsulates; 3 Procedure Rooms, 1 Laser Room, 3 Consult Rooms, a Reception & Waiting area, and Nurses Clinic.
