Northern Sydney Dermatology & Laser 1.0

SCOPE: 

Having completed Northern Sydney Dermatology & Laser’s existing medical suite in Northbridge, Insight was again called in to assist in the relocation & expansion of the NSDL facility to a larger space on the ground floor of a new building in Northbridge.

The Client requested that the rooms be bright & maximised the usage of  space within the limited floor area of 495 sqm. The brief stipulated that there be 5 Procedure Rooms with Sterilizing and other facilities associated with a modern Dermatology Practice.

SOLUTION:

With the space being long & thin in plan, the Insight Design Team came up with a Design that created a central spine that serviced all rooms & gave the patients clear access to all Doctors & services.

Once the concept plan was approved, detailed documentation & approvals were sought prior to commencing on site in late 2019. After a year of pre-planning, Insight provided all Design & Documentation, Construction Management & Services detailing, under a Design & Construct delivery method.

The construction phase was programmed for completion within 8 weeks & this timetable was met for handover in mid December 2019.
