CHALLENGE:

Insight Projects was appointed by Shell to provide a Design Project & Construction Management services to create a Collaborative Environment to manage their Queensland gas leases from Brisbane. This centre with the aid of state of the art technology was to be a showpiece of QGC’s presence in QLD and was to be completed 12 weeks after appointment to achieve staffing accommodation deadlines & to help co-ordinate the infrastructure of mine set ups in the north.

SOLUTION:

With the 1300m2 Insight achieved 5 major control rooms with state of the art technology, imported ‘dealer’ desks that were designed especially to fit the limited space. The design allows functionality & design to improve the operational tasks for the occupants.
