Transburban MCC St Peters

SCOPE: 

Being a long term Client of ours, Transurban approached Insight Projects with their new purpose built Motor Control Centre in St Peters. Due to the scale of the works, Insight took on the project over three stages.

SOLUTION:

Stage 1 (2019) involved the fitout of workstations & meeting rooms to allow Transurban to begin operations in their new premises as soon as possible.

Stage 2 (2020) looked at fine tuning the initial fitout, by adding design features which were specific to Transurban’s branding and sites throughout NSW. This encapsulated the; design of a new lobby / foyer area, detailed open plan design, collaboration spaces, large purpose built servery / breakout area, locker spaces for 200+ persons, print facilities, modifications to meeting rooms & additional phone rooms to include multimedia & AV capabilities.

Stage 3 (2021) required Insight to convert an existing training facility into a a backup Motor Control Centre to service the WestConnex tunnel. High level technical advice was provided in order to achieve a functional space for the Control Room Operators.
